On Sunday, February 19, the Montreal Canadiens honored the memory of Montreal Expos catcher Gary Carter with a special pregame ceremony that included all players wearing "CARTER - 8" jerseys (with the actual player numbers on the sleeves) during their warmup.
These jerseys, signed by the respective players who wore them, will be available to purchase via online auction the week of Feb. 20, with all proceeds from the sale benefiting The Gary Carter Foundation.
Bidding will begin on all jerseys starting Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 5:00 p.m. on the NHL Auctions site and will end on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 5pm.
