Every week throughout the 2012-13 season, you will get the chance to vote for the Canadiens play of the week. Each week’s winning play will automatically earn an entry into the year-end elimination tournament which will decide the play of the year.

Here are the nominees from the last week of Habs action:

Bourque’s beauty
(May 2 vs. OTT)
With Craig Anderson on top of his game, it was going to take a perfect shot to beat him and that’s just what Rene Bourque produced, coming from behind the net to put a wicked backhander past the Ottawa goalkeeper.

Electric slide
(May 3 vs. OTT)
Turning in a top-notch playoff performance against the Sens, Carey Price made a slew of key saves during this second-period Ottawa power play, but none bigger than this post-to-post slide to rob Sergei Gonchar of an easy marker.

Mass destruction
(May 3 vs. OTT)
Fired up after cracking Craig Anderson to open the scoring in Game 2, Ryan White takes  his physical game to the next leve;, going on a hitting rampage in the third frame, to make sure the game’s momentum stayed squarely in the Canadiens’ corner.
