Position: STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH
Pierre Allard is entering his fifth season with the Montreal Canadiens’ organization as Strength and Conditioning Coach. An authority when it comes to formulating and implementing conditioning programs for hockey players, Allard has worked as a consultant for several Bundesliga teams, in Germany. He also worked with the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL and Collège Antoine-Girouard Gaulois of the Quebec Midget AAA. A graduate of Université de Montréal with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and three levels of the National Coaching Certification Program, Allard holds a dual citizenship, having played hockey in England and France and representing the latter at five world championships and the 1998 Olympic Games, in Nagano. Since retiring as a player, he has been training as a triathlete and twice completed the Mont-Tremblant Iron Man competition.
