In-Kind Donation Program

Through the In-Kind Donation Program, the Montreal Canadiens help a number of non-profit charities.

Each year, the Montreal Canadiens' Community Relations department supports several non-profit organizations in raising funds through memorabilia raffles and auctions. Priority for support is given to organizations whose programs focus on improving quality of life for youth and underprivileged children by addressing needs in the areas of education, health and recreation.

Please note that requests for in-kind donations for fundraising activities or humanitarian causes must be submitted to the Canadiens Community Relations Department six to eight weeks prior to the fundraising event. Requests can be faxed to (514) 925-2144 or by mail at 1275,  Saint-Antoine Street West, Montréal (Québec)  H3C 5L2.

Please follow the steps below:
-    Use your organization’s letterhead;
-    Provide a short description and date of the event;
-    Indicate the number of people expected to attend the event;
-    Specify how the requested item will be used to raise funds;
-    Indicate the name of the beneficiary of the event.

We provide a variety of items such as autographed jerseys, hockey sticks, autographed hats, t-shirts, player photos, team photos, pucks etc. We DO NOT provide tickets or the use of a suite for a game.

We will respond to each request no later than two weeks prior to the event. All donation decisions made by the Community Relations Department are final. Items will be mailed according to dates of the events and/or dates by which the items are needed.

We wish all organizations best of luck with their charitable endeavors and salute them for making a difference in the lives of children and youth.
