IN THIS ISSUE

No Guts, No Glory
He may never head to an All-Star Game without a ticket, but few players in the Canadiens dressing room are more valuable to the team these days than Tom Kostopoulos.

Going Deep
Losing a half-dozen key players to injury all at once might be cause for any NHL team to throw in the towel. For the Canadiens, it has instead provided a chance to prove what they were made of.

Life in the Fast Lane
Some nicknames can stick with you forever, whether you want them to or not.  For Habs legend Yvan Cournoyer, though, “The Roadrunner” is hardly a moniker he’s looking to shake.

Future Watch
His name may not be as well as known other Swedish exports like IKEA and SAAB, but Nichlas Torp has a silver medal from the 2009 World Juniors to show for the fact that he’s well on his way to Bell Centre.

Blast from the Past
More often than not, an impromptu visit from a team's general manager or owner can be a little nerve-racking for the players, who are wise to be on their best behavior for its duration.  As top Canadiens executives in the late 70’s and early ‘80s would discover, though, it wasn’t just the players who had to be on their toes.

Ask Eddy
The latest installment of our wildly popular feature starring Eddy Palchak, the longtime trainer recalls his favorite Habs player as a kid, the funniest Canadiens player he ever worked with, and provides some insight on what length to cut your stick.

The Last Word
Willa Ford is a triple threat, having made her name as a model, singer, and actress.  After rising to stardom at the turn of the millennium following a tour with the Backstreet Boys and the release of her album, Willa Was Here, Ford appeared in the likes of FHM and Stuff magazines before starring in two successful reality series; in 2005 she hosted the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter”, the show that helped launch the UFC into the mainstream, then in 2006 she competed in the hit “Dancing with the Stars”.  It was around this time that she became engaged to the Dallas Stars’ Mike Modano; the couple wed in 2007.  Up next for Willa: being terrorized by Jason Voorhees in the Michael Bay-produced remake of Friday the 13th.
