Launched in 2008, “The Goal is Green” program aims to establish the Montreal Canadiens as an industry leader both on the ice and in the community through programs that reduce its environmental footprint, support the greening of the environment and renewable resources, and encourage its wide-ranging fanbase to do the same.

A detailed overview of the wide array of steps the organization has already taken in this regard will be unveiled in the weeks ahead.  At present, the club would like to recognize several key partners who support them in “The Goal is Green” initiative.
