10 – Number of all-time meetings that have been contested between the Canadiens and Penguins during the month of February. The two clubs first went head-to-head during the second month of the calendar year on Feb. 16, 1969 with the Habs earning a 4-0 shutout victory.
693 – Number of days that elapsed since goaltender Peter Budaj was featured between the pipes on consecutive days, including Thursday night’s tilt in Pittsburgh. The Slovakian netminder was last called upon on back-to-back days on April 4-5, 2012 in his first season with the Canadiens. It also marked just the third time Budaj has contested two games in two nights since 2008.
