MONTREAL  – Here’s a numerical look at the game between the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre on Saturday night.

2 – Number of 3-on-5 goals scored in the NHL this season, including Tomas Plekanec’s breakaway marker in the first period with Blake Geoffrion and Josh Gorges in the box.

2,252 – Number of regular season games that have gone by since the last time a Canadiens player scored a goal while down two men, dating back to March 24, 1983 when Guy Carbonneau beat North Stars netminder Don Beaupre while killing on a 3-on-5.

15 – Number of times in franchise history that the Canadiens have closed out the season with a game against Toronto, going 9-5-1 in those outings.

2 – Number of Habs players who have suited up for all 82 games this season, namely Gorges and Erik Cole who didn’t miss a night’s work in 2011-12.

21 – Number of seasons since the Canadiens’ leading scorer was 24 years old or younger; at 23 years and 139 days of age, Max Pacioretty is the youngest Hab since Stephane Richer in 1989-90 (23 years, 290 days old) to lead the team in points.

3 – Consecutive number of games in which Josh Gorges has registered at least one point, adding an assist in a third straight game with a helper on Pacioretty’s second-period marker.

35 – Team-leading number of goals scored by Cole this season, tying him for 11th in the league in that category.

14 – Number of multi-point games enjoyed by Pacioretty in 2011-12, bringing his season-total to a career high 65 points with his goal and assist on Saturday night.
