MONTREAL – Here’s a numerical look at the game between the Canadiens and the Jets at the Bell Centre on Wednesday night.

5821 – Number of days that have elapsed since the last time the Winnipeg Jets played a game in Montreal. The match, a 4-1 win for the Canadiens, took place on January 27, 1996 – the Habs last year in the Forum and the also the Jets last year as franchise.

534 – After Wednesday night’s tilt against the Jets, the number of games that remain on Josh Gorges freshly inked six-year contract that will see him wear a Canadiens uniform until the end of the 2017-18 season.
