PITTSBURGH – Here's a numerical look at the game between the Canadiens and the Penguins at the Consol Energy Center on Thursday night.

4 – Number of still-active NHL players that were in the league when Hal Gill debuted in his first-ever game on Oct. 17, 1997. Joe Thornton, Sergei Samsonov, Mattias Ohlund and Steve Staios round out that list of veterans.

3 – Number of games missed by Michael Cammalleri, with the right winger making his return to action against the Penguins after suffering a laceration to his leg in during th second game of the season in Winnipeg.

700 – Number of NHL games played by Arron Asham, with the Penguins forward having skated as a Canadien for his first game in the league on November 28, 1998 against… the Penguins.

50 – Percentage of games played by the Canadiens this season that have ended in them losing a player; Scott Gomez the most recent casualty, having suffered an upper body injury against the Penguins.

4 - Number of games making up Max Pacioretty’s point streak before the Habs leading scorer was finally kept off the scoresheet on Thursday by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
