All Star starters announced

MONTREAL – The polls are closed and the NHL All Star starting six has been announced.
For the first time in three years, the Montreal Canadiens won’t have a player in the All Star starting lineup, although the remaining 36 All Stars joining the Top 6 will be announced later this week along with the 12 rookies also brought along for the SuperSkills portion of the event.
Sidney Crosby paced all NHLers with 635,509, joined on forward by teammate Evgeni Malkin and Chicago captain Jonathan Toews. Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith and write-in candidate Kris Letang will patrol the blue line on the first shift with Penguins netminder Marc-Andre Fleury getting the start between the pipes.
