NEWARK -- Here's a numerical look at the Canadiens-Devils match-up at the Prudential Center on Thursday night.

11 – Number of seconds needed by Brian Gionta to open the scoring against his baby brother’s team, narrowly missing out on the team record for fastest goal by a mere two seconds.

10 – Number of times Martin Brodeur hasn’t been between the pipes for the Devils against the Canadiens since making his NHL debut in 1991-92, starting all 64 other games against the Habs in his career.

98 – Number of seconds backup Devils netminder Johan Hedberg got to enjoy during a rare start against the Habs before getting the hook for allowing two goals on his first three shots.

20 – Number of years since the Habs last won two-straight games in New Jersey, doing so most recently during the 1989-90 campaign. Jacques Martin’s troops won the first meeting in the Garden State in October before picking up another win at the Prudential Center on Thursday night.

6 – Game-high number of shots fired by Yannick Weber in the game, filling in for P.K. Subban on the point against the Devils.

28 – Number of games played by the Habs in New Jersey since they last scored five goals in a game, coming in a 6-5 loss on February 23, 1996.

150 – Number of NHL games played by Mathieu Darche throughout his career, finishing his big night with a plus-1 differential.

4 – Number of points racked up by veteran blue-liner Roman Hamrlik in his last two games, notching his 602nd and 603rd career points and adding four blocked shots against the Devils.
