| Highlights from the 2009 All-Star Game |
Headlining the list of Habs hopefuls on the ballot this year is perennial All-Star, Andrei Markov. Having been named a starter in each of the last two All-Star Games, the 31-year-old blue-liner is looking for the three-peat in Carolina.
Markov isn’t the only Hab potentially heading to Raleigh this January, with Michael Cammalleri and captain Brian Gionta rounding out the list of Canadiens on the ballot. Looking to make his All-Star Game debut this year, Cammalleri followed up a stellar spring that saw him lead the league with 13 goals by racking up 10 points in just 15 games to star the season. An All-Star nod would also be a first for Gionta, who led Montreal with 28 goals in 2009-10.
Send your favorite Habs to Carolina by texting their last names to 81812, or by going to nhl.com/vote. Fans can choose up to three forwards, two defensemen and a goalie every time they vote, and write-in ballots are always welcome. The polls open at 12:01 a.m. EST on Monday Nov. 15 and close at 11:59 p.m. on January 2, so vote early and vote often.
