MONTREAL - Here's a numerical look at the showdown between the Habs and the Sens at the Bell Centre on Saturday night.

1 – Number of shots needed by the Canadiens to open the scoring in the match-up, with captain Brian Gionta slipping a backhander past Brian Elliot 1:06 into the first period. 

99 – Number of points Sens captain Daniel Alfredsson has scored against the Habs in 76 games versus Montreal in his 15-year career, including a goal and an assist on Saturday night.

562 – Days since a Canadiens captain last scored a regular-season goal, dating back to Saku Koivu beating Yann Danis in a 5-1 win over the Islanders on April 2, 2009.

 70Tomas Plekanec’s faceoff efficiency in the contest, winning 21 of 30 draws on the night.
