Some things in life, like water, air and hockey are absolutely essential for everyone, but is there anything else we simply couldn’t live without?  In a quest to find an answer we caught up with PK Subban and put him on the hot seat to get his take on life’s little necessities.  Here’s what the defenseman recommends checking out to read, watch or listen to if you’ve got a few spare hours to kill.
Movie everyone has to see:

Gladiator. I think it’s just a tremendous movie. It’s got everything in it; it’s got humor, it’s got action, it’s a good story line and it’s one of the best movies ever made. I’m a big Russel Crowe fan and I think everyone should go see it.

Album everyone should add to their collection:

Jay-Z – The Blueprint. You’ve got to have it.

Book everyone should read :

Russel Brand’s biography My Booky Wook. It’s a tremendous story. It’s really interesting. I actually just finished reading it and I’d definitely recommend it.

T.V. show everyone should check out:

I’d have to say King of Queens. That’s a great show.

DVD box set everyone should own:

The MacGyver series. I’ve got all six seasons and I just bought the seventh season. I love it! It’s just really funny to watch.

A Web site everyone should have in their bookmarks:
canadiens.com… actually, facebook maybe? Or ted.com – check it out and learn about the world and cool ideas.

A place everyone needs to visit:

Los Cabos, Mexico. I went there on vacation. It’s a great spot – very relaxing, lots of sun, lots of things to do.

A go-to snack:

Yogurt and granola. I love it – I eat it in the morning, in the afternoon and at night. I eat it all the time.
