WASHINGTON -- Here’s a numerical look at the series-clinching Game 7 Habs win over the Caps at the Verizon Center on Wednesday night.

12 – Seconds needed by Marc-Andre Bergeron to make Caps defenseman Mike Green pay for his indiscretion, notching the game’s opening goal on the power play to close out the first period.      

3 – Number of points Bergy has racked up so far in the postseason, equaling his playoff total in 18 games with the Oilers in 2005-06.

17 - Years since the Habs last won on April 28, disposing of the Nordiques 6-2 in the opening round of the 1993 playoffs.

3 – Number of times Scott Gomez’s helmet found its way off the speedy center’s cranium and onto the ice in the game.
