MONTREAL -- Here's a numerical look at the Habs' pummeling of the Rangers at the Bell Centre on Saturday night.

5 – Consecutive number of games between the Habs and the Rangers at the Bell Centre in which the Canadiens have picked up at least a point for their night’s work. Since the historic 6-5 comeback shootout victory over the Blueshirts on February 19, 2008, the team has posted a 4-0-1 record against New York.

4 – Number of times Jaroslav Halak has started on back-to-back nights in his career, beating both the Flyers and the Sharks in his most recent such double header last February 27 and 28.

66.6 – Percentage of games since December 1 in which Scott Gomez has found his way onto the scoresheet, picking up five goals and 19 assists in 27 games during that span.

0:31 – Time needed for the two Original 6 rivals to renew hostilities in the match up, including a pair of coincidental roughing penalties doled out to Maxim Lapierre and Rangers superpest Sean Avery in the game’s first shift.

6:05 – Elapsed time without a single stoppage in play in the first period, with the two teams going back and forth to the tune of nine shots on goal in that span.

12 – Career points amassed against the Rangers by Hal Gill, equaling his output against the Lightning for his highest production against any other NHL team.

10 – Goals scored by the Canadiens playing 4-on-4 this season, the most of any team in the NHL in 2009-10. The Habs scored two all of last season.

1 – Number of tons of pressure lifted from Maxim Lapierre’s back after he beat Henrik Lundqvist for his first goal in 28 games in the second period.

1 – Number of Rangers players who weren’t totally sad to see Lundqvist get yanked, namely Matt Zaba who subsequently made his first NHL appearance at the 7:07 mark of the second period

4,123 – Number of days since the Habs last bettered the Rangers by six goals in a game, last embarrassing the Blueshirts 7-1 on October 10, 1998.
