Four players released from training camp

MONTREAL  – The Montreal Canadiens announced Tuesday that forward Philippe Lefebvre (Drummondville – QMJHL), defensemen Mac Bennett (Cedar Rapids – USHL) and Joe Stejskal (Dartmouth – ECAC), as well as goaltender Jason Missiaen (Peterborough – OHL) were released from training camp and returned to their respective team.

Fifty (50) players are still at training camp, including five (5) goaltenders, sixteen (16) defensemen and twenty-nine (29) forwards.

The Canadiens will play five preseason games in five nights, starting this Thursday, September 17 against the Florida Panthers at the Bell Centre.
