Patrice Brisebois’ decision to come back home to Montreal last summer proved to be a wise one. Here’s a numerical look back at the season that was for the veteran defenseman and Canadiens lifer.

6-Playoff points put up by Brisebois in 11 postseason games, to lead all Habs defensemen during the 2008 playoffs, while also tying his own personal best set back in 1991-92.

5-Brisebois’ rank all-time among Habs blue-liners after suiting up for 43 games this past season to bring his career total to 832 games.

3-Defensemen in club history to have notched more career goals with the Canadiens than Brisebois, who brought his all-time total to 82 goals by lighting the lamp three times in 2007-08.

81-Defensemen in NHL history to have hit the 400-point mark, with Brisebois joining the club against the Kings in Los Angeles on March 8.

37-Brisebois’ age to close out the 2007-08 season, making him only the fourth defenseman in team history to suit up for the Canadiens at age 37, joining Larry Robinson (1988-89), Herb Gardiner (1928-29) and Jack Laviolette (1917-18).
