Carbo's little secret
“You will all find out at seven o’clock tonight,” teased Carbonneau regarding his choice between Carey Price and Jaroslav Halak. “Nothing has changed in my approach to this since yesterday. All smiles aside, Carbonneau thought long and hard before making the call.
“I talked to other members of the organization, but this was ultimately my decision,” affirmed Carbonneau. “I know the blame will lie with me either way. I’m at peace with my choice and I have no regrets.”
Despite being left in the dark by their head coach, the Canadiens have faith in both of their masked men.
“No matter who is in goal tonight, we know they can get the job done,” said Guillaume Latendresse. “We all know they will be ready.”
