Habs call up Halak
MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday that goaltender Jaroslav Halak has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.
Halak, 22, posted a 4-4-2 record, two shutouts, a 2.66 goals against average and a .910 save
percentage in 11 games with the Bulldogs this season.
The Bratislava, Slovakia native played in 16 games with the Canadiens last season. He registered a 10-6-0 record (7-0-0 at home), a 2.89 goals against average, two shutouts and a .906 save percentage.
