Some things in life, like water, air and hockey, are absolutely essential for everyone, but is there anything else we simply couldn’t live without?  In a quest to find an answer we caught up Georges Laraque and put him on the hot seat to get his take on life’s little necessities.  Here’s what the veteran Habs enforcer recommends checking out to read, watch or listen to if you’ve got a few spare hours to kill.
Movie everyone has to see:

Pay it Forward.
That’s my favorite movie of all time.

Album everyone should add to their collection:

My favorite band is U2, so you could pick any of those.  I really like Vertigo, but their “All that you can’t leave behind” album is great.

DVD box set everyone should own:

Definitely 24. It’s such an addictive show.
Book everyone should read :

The Secret.  It’s all about positive thinking.

A Web site
everyone should have in their bookmarks
:

Georgeslaraque.com (laughs).

A place everyone needs to visit

Any poor country.  If you think life is hard sometimes, that would be a great way to get some perspective and make you appreciate everything you have to be thankful for.
