2011-12 HIGHLIGHTS

Played his first game with the Canadiens on October 24 against Florida, winning all of his 4 face-offs (100%).

Won 18 of his 29 face-offs (62.1%) with the Canadiens in October.

Played his 200th NHL career game on November 5 against the New York Rangers.

Scored his first goal with the Canadiens on November 25 at Philadelphia.

Nost penalized player on the team in November (20 minutes).

Returned to action on February 25 at Washington after missing 14 games due to an upper body injury suffered on January 20 at Pittsburgh.

Suffered a season-ending upper body injury on March 31 at Washington.


HIGHLIGHTS


Drafted by the Islanders (with Chris Campoli) in 2004, Nokelainen also played with Boston, Anaheim and Phoenix before being acquired by the Canadiens.

Played 46 games with Jokerit Helsinki of SM-Liiga in 2010-11, scoring 27 points (11goals, 16 assists) and logging 116 penalty minutes.

Nokelainen played his first game as a member of the Canadiens on October 24 against the Florida Panthers.
