The Canadiens wrap up their second back-to-back series of the season with a Sunday afternoon contest against the Senators in Montreal.

The Habs will be looking to even the season-series at one after dropping a 5-1 decision to the Sens last Wednesday night at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.

Montreal is coming off a 6-1 win over Buffalo on Saturday. Rene Bourque and David Desharnais each scored twice for the Habs. The Senators were downed 1-0 by the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night in Raleigh, suffering just their second loss of the season in regulation time.

The Canadiens won four of the six games played between the two teams last season, including two of three games at the Bell Centre.

Erik Cole amassed seven points (6G, 1A) in six games against the Senators during the 2011-12 season.

Carey Price could make his second consecutive start in as many days for the Canadiens.

Guillaume Latendresse will not take part in Sunday’s game against the Canadiens. Latendresse is sidelined with the flu and did not accompany the team on their current road trip.

Jason Spezza is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery for a herniated disc on Friday. Spezza led Ottawa in scoring against the Canadiens last season (3G, 2A).

Craig Anderson will get the start in goal for the Senators. He ranks second in the league in wins (5) and save percentage (.968) and third in goals against average (0.99). He was the NHL’s “First Star” for the month of January.
