Game Day - Devils @ Canadiens - Sept. 23

- The Canadiens skated in Brossard on Monday morning in preparation for a pre-season match against the New Jersey at the Bell Centre.

- Nathan Beaulieu, who has recovered from a shoulder injury suffered on the first day of training camp, practiced with his teammates and wore a regular, full-contact jersey. He will make his pre-season debut Monday night versus the Devils.

- Francis Bouillon and Travis Moen practiced with the team, and will take part in the match as well. Bouillon skated on a duo with Jarred Tinordi, while Moen practiced on a line with Ryan White and Michael Bournival.

- Greg Pateryn, Douglas Murray and Davis Drewiske did not practice and are out with lower-body injuries.

- Training on the other rink were Martin St-Pierre, Christian Thomas, Nick Tarnasky, Gabriel Dumont, Mike Blunden and Magnus Nygren.

- With Dustin Tokarski returned to Hamilton, Carey Price and Peter Budaj are the only netminders remaining with the team.
