- Following the National Hockey League, the AHL held their own All-Star Game on Monday. While he may not have logged any points in the team’s victory Frederic St-Denis played his part in an epic comeback orchestrated by the West. Despite the East leading 6-2 after the opening period, the West clawed their way back into the match, eventually downing their adversaries 8-7 in a shootout.
- After taking Monday off following a busy All-Star weekend, Carey Price was back between the pipes for Tuesday morning's practice, in preparation to face the Sabres.
- Andreas Engqvist joined the Canadiens in Brossard, finding himself on a line with Mathieu Darche and Yannick Weber for the morning skate.
- Chris Campoli will likely watch Tuesday night’s game from the press gallery as Yannick Weber prepares to step into a forward role against the Sabres.
- Andrei Markov skated alone today for around 15 minutes for the first time since his operation on December 5.
