The Montreal Canadiens have acquired Robert Czarnik

- The Montreal Canadiens have acquired the centerman Robert Czarnik from the Los Angeles Kings, in exchange for forward Steve Quailer.

Czarnik, aged 24, was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings 63rd overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. In 29 games with the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs this season, he has one goal and four assists.

The centerman will report to the Hamilton Bulldogs, Montreal’s AHL affiliate.
