- The Canadiens skated in Brossard on Tuesday morning ahead of their match up with the Buffalo Sabres at the Bell Centre.

- Forward Rene Bourque skated alongside his teammates in Brossard for the first time since being sidelined with a concussion. He sported a 'no-contact' jersey during the practice session. Bourque has missed the last 11 games.

- Forward Michael Blunden has been returned to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL after playing in last Saturday night's tilt against the New Jersey Devils.
