- The Canadiens skated in Brossard on Monday morning ahead of their Tuesday night match up with the Buffalo Sabres at the Bell Centre.

- Forward Michael Ryder skated alongside his teammates after missing Saturday night's game in New Jersey with a lower-body injury. Head coach Michel Therrien confirmed that Ryder should be ready to play against the Sabres on Tuesday night.

- Brandon Prust, Rene Bourque and Yannick Weber skated on Brossard's secondary ice surface with Habs' strength and conditioning coach Pierre Allard.

- A day prior to signing a three-year contract with the Canadiens on March 17, Saskatoon Blades' defenseman Darren Dietz closed out the WHL regular season in style, tallying three assists against the Prince Albert Raiders. Dietz registered four points (1G, 3A) over his last two games of the year.
