- The Canadiens practiced in Brossard on Tuesday morning ahead of their Wednesday night match-up with the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre.

- Rene Bourque, sidelined with a concussion, skated on his own in Brossard prior to the Canadiens' Tuesday morning practice session. Petteri Nokelainen, meanhwhile, skated for the duration of the practice, and participated in all drills.

- Brandon Prust, Yannick Weber and Raphael Diaz were not present at practice on Tuesday.

- In his post-practice press conference, head coach Michel Therrien explained that the standard concussion protocol is being observed in the cases of both Bourque and Diaz, and that Bourque is slightly ahead of Diaz in his recovery effort. Diaz has, however, resumed light workouts.
