-Tomas Plekanec skated with the team for a second consecutive day during Day 5 of the Canadiens training camp. However, head coach Michel Therrien confirmed he will not play in Thursday’s scrimmage as a precautionary measure.

-After skating on Brossard’s second rink on Wednesday, Mike Blunden, Frederic St-Denis, Patrick Holland, Louis Leblanc and Michael Bournival joined the rest of the Habs for Thursday’s practice and are all set to take part in the intra-squad scrimmage.

-The Canadiens head coach expressed that players will not know what the teams will be for the scrimmage until they arrive at the Bell Centre at 5:00 P.M.
