The Bulldogs kicked off a four-game road trip with a visit to Chicago to take on the Wolves. After falling behind in the match the Hamilton squad attempted to mount a comeback, notching three quick goals in the third frame. Joonas Nattinen opened up the scoring for the ‘Dogs with his fourth goal of the season. Then, with a little less than seven minutes left to play Michaël Bournival and Nathan Beaulieu also both found the back of the net. The goals represented Beaulieu’s first as a professional, while for Bournival, his marker ended a scoring drought that had lasted since Oct. 23. Despite the surge of scoring, it still proved too little too late for the Bulldogs who went on to drop the game 4-3.
