The Bulldogs made their way to Buffalo’s First Niagara Center to hit the ice for the third game of their regular season schedule. After the Americans got off to a good start opening the scoring midway through the first period, Sylvain Lefebvre’s squad answered back as Michaël Bournival found the back of the net to nab the first goal of his professional career. The goal was assisted by Patrick Holland who picked up his third point as a Bulldog. Despite Bournival’s goal, Hamilton ultimately dropped the game by a score of 3-1. The match also marked the first game of the season for Morgan Ellis and Joonas Nattinen, who suited up to replace Brendan Nash and Louis Leblanc, respectively. Leblanc is currently sidelined after suffering an injury to his right ankle, sustained in the Bulldogs’ Oct. 20 tilt against the Toronto Marlies.
