How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I have a passion for modeling and almost every time I have a photoshoot I sport my Canadiens jersey. I've won several Facebook arguments about the Habs and whether or not we have the best fan base in all of hockey!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

Through social media, we can connect with people who live very far away from us. I use that to my full advantage by following many Habs fans on Twitter, YouTube, and Tumblr. I've made some great friends from across the country through our passion for the Bleu, Blanc et Rouge. Also, I enter every contest put out by the Canadiens, follow all the players on Twitter and have even made a montage video from the 2010 Playoffs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zwQw-wbyq4). In the pictures I've submitted, you'll see my dad in his full Habs playoff gear (Habs Boxers, Habs T-Shirt, Habs PJ pants, Chris Higgins jersey, Habs hat, and his Habs beer glass), me rocking my Patrick Roy jersey and war paint during the 2011 playoffs, and myself, my dad and my sister sporting our “Game Faces” on the last game of the regular season.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I went to India and carried a white Habs t-shirt with me for two whole weeks in a back pack, while ridding a bike. I made every effort to keep it clean and white while I was there. We rode our motorcycles 2500 km.

Here are a couple of pictures of me in front and inside of some temples in Hempi, India that were taken in February 2011. I’ve shared them all on Facebook.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’m a big fan of the Canadiens on Twitter and I’m always tweeting about the team as well as retweeting their posts. I’ve uploaded many pictures of the Canadiens to Facebook that I personally took at games and practices. Discussing and following the team is my biggest passion.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I follow the Canadiens day in and day out on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube all the way from France. I try to share my passion for the team with social media as much as possible through posting photos, updating news and passing alone links directly from the team on my Facebook page. I’ll also be traveling from France to in February to see the Canadiens play in person!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’m always discussing the Canadiens on Facebook; commenting on games, trades or anything that’s going on with the team. On top of that, I’m including some pictures of me rocking my Habs jersey that I took when I visited the Great Wall of China. This is still what I use as my profile picture.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

My name is Courtney, and I am addicted to social media. I tweet everyday, check for Facebook notifications often, and I currently have accounts with Youtube, Tumblr, Flickr, Picnik, Google, Yahoo, 8tracks, and StumbleUpon.

Yes, I admit I have a problem, however, I have decided that I might as well make the most of my addiction and use all possible mediums to praise the Canadiens, because trust me when I say, I’m even more addicted to the Blue, Blanc et Rouge than anything else. In the past few months, I've been fortunate enough to meet some new Habs fans like myself through Facebook and Twitter. As my number of followers and friends increased, I began to post pictures and videos that I thought they might enjoy: pictures of Easter eggs and jack-o-lanterns (all Habs themed, of course). I posted pictures of myself at live games, and pictures of myself on game days spent at home. I tweeted about the games, I tweeted to the players, and I even shared my game-day rituals with the entire social networking world. I wear my Habs hat to every ball game I play in, I'll never change my lucky phone number that just "happens" to include the numbers of two of my favourite current Habs, and I always pump up my RBK skates 13 times on each side. I am a Canadiens fan and I'll never stop sharing my passion.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I am without a doubt the ultimate Canadiens social media follower!

Indoctrinated into the “Good Book of Habs” from birth, I am a total diehard Montreal Canadiens fan. I'll begin with the two sites I run: http://YourCanadiens.info/, my blog, and http://HabsProject.weebly.com/, my site dedicated to documenting Habs collectibles and memorabilia. Since my blog's official launch in June, it has been very well received, often being linked to on major hockey sites around the net. I have made sure to have at least one new post for every weekday since launch, providing all the latest content to Habs fans around the world.

Bobblehead Collection

As for my collectibles site, it can serve as a resource to anyone looking for Canadiens bobbleheads, figurines, and the like. But it also serves to document my own collection!

Every player featured in my collection is either a current or former Canadien. The little Canadiens bobblehead in the middle of the center row (between a Ken Dryden bobblehead and David Aebischer McFarlane figure) is actually a custom bobblehead of ME that was given to me as a gift! Come on! Who else has a little Habs bobblehead of themselves?!

I have a very active Twitter account associated with my blog where I talk only about the Canadiens with close to 600 followers.

I haven't been able to contribute too much through my YouTube account just yet, but hope to do more in the future. This was a popular video I uploaded back in 2007 from the Canadiens development camp:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXNFNxqNl94

Lastly, of course, being as big a Habs fan as I am, I often wear Canadiens gear when travelling. Below are shots of me from Germany, Egypt, and Israel showing off the CH crest.

All in all, I feel that I am definitely the team's biggest social media follower, and one of their most diehard fans in the world! Thanks for reviewing my entry and Go Habs Go!
