How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’ve been following the Canadiens on Facebook and Twitter for a long time to make sure I’m always update on everything to do with the Habs. I often use social media to invite my friends over to watch the games and it’s great to see that the Canadiens have such a strong presence on both platforms. Here’s a picture of in Zermatt, Switzerland standing in front of the Matterhorn.

There’s been a passion for the Canadiens that’s run in my family dating all the way back to my grandfather. Here’s a picture of my daughter, who’s one of the biggest Habs fan in the world. She’s gotten the chance to meet some true Canadiens legends in Dickie Moore, Emile Bouchard and Jean Beliveau. Here’s some pictures of our little universe; our Bell Centre that shows off our passion for this wonderful team and their illustrious history.

I follow Habs on both Twitter and Facebook and watch every single Habs game. There's probably not too much merchandise that I don't own with a Habs logo on it. I'm a woman’s hockey goalie and such a Price fan that my mask is painted and designed based off Carey's first Habs helmet and a Cristobal Huet mask with number 31 on the back. I also wear a Habs shell with my goalie pants. I even have two tattoos that I show off whenever I can. All my friends know what a Habs nut I am – now that's dedication!

Even though I might be studying in Ottawa right now, that doesn’t stop me from following the Canadiens as much as I possibly can, whether through Twitter or the team’s official web site. I can guarantee you that everyone that lives on my floor know who my favorite hockey team is! We don’t catch all the games here, but I’ll always at least listen to them on the radio while commenting non-stop on Twitter!

I made sure to make it out to Confederation Park in Ottawa and I couldn’t resist paying tribute to the Canadiens logo while I was there. #gohabsgo

I’ve built a mini Bell Centre in my own backyard and our local radio station even talked about it and put it up on their website. I’ve posted a lot of pictures of it up on Facebook and a bunch of people have shared them through their profiles and started conversations about my rink.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

It’s pretty simple: about two or three times every day I go onto Twitter, Facebook andf Youtube to watch and read all the latest updates and stories published by the team and to see how fans are reacting to the team’s wins and losses. I always know who is going to be in the lineup for the night’s game and who’s sick or is going to be a healthy scratch.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I follow all the rumors and updates on the team and get a lot of my news from their Facebook fan page. I’m always talking about the Habs on FB and am always up to date on what’s going on with the team. My computer gets opened first thing every morning to see if there’s anything I missed over the night, and it’s the first thing I do when I get home from work in case I missed a press conference or one of the players speaking. I wish I live closer to Montreal so I could make it out to see a couple more game every season, but we still try and make it out once a year anyways.

I’m constantly following the Canadiens on their official Facebook page and Twitter account. I always share clips of goals and news about the team with my friends and last year I took part in the “Put on your Game Face” contest.

GO HABS GO!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I haven’t missed a Habs game in years and I always wear my Habs gear, even my lucky Habs underwear every game! I either watch the games online, on TV, or over my cell phone and I get updates from Twitter every time they post – even on Facebook! I’m always online on Canadiens.com, just browsing though everything. Even if I’ve read or watched something once, I'll read it or watch it again. I'm always posting on the Facebook fan page, commenting on posts, reading other "Habs fans" trash talk the team, while I’m there defending them. I know that they can make it to the playoffs, because they’re a great team! I’m for sure the Habs’ #1 fan! I think about them 24/7, and I try and convert everyone I know to being a Habs fan! GO HABS GO!

I’m always paying attention to any news that has anything to do with the Montreal Canadiens, every day, all week long. I follow the team on Facebook for all the updates and try to learn as much history on them as I can so I can teach my kids what it means to be a Habs fan.
