Beginning on September 1, 2011, we will announce one Social Media Fan of the Day everyday on Twitter via @canadiensMTL, the official Twitter account of the Montreal Canadiens. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to any Habs Zone location and we’ll post his or her profile on canadiens.com. Oh, and don’t forget to tell your friends – it’s in your best interests!

My daughter and I love watching games together every chance we get. Here is a personalized autograph photo of P.K. Subban I won for her. She’s a Habs Fan Club member and we’ll be taking her to attend the Festifan this year! :) Go HABS Go!!

I am a die-hard Habs fan. Ask anyone that knows me, and they’ll tell you that I live and breath the Canadiens. My Facebook profile is plastered with pics of me in my Habs gear, some of which I purchase with my Habs reward credit card. I've worn my jersey to show my pride in the middle of the summer in North Carolina, no matter how hot it was. I wear it every Christmas morning. I studied journalism media in college and through that I had the chance to interview Jean Beliveau, Ken Dryden, and Rejan Houle. All such an amazing honor. With the future being social media I am training my new nephew in the ways by bringing him up a fan of the Habs, so in the future he can broadcast himself. The Bleu, Blanc, et Rouge runs through my veins so much so that even though I don't speak a word of French I sit at home watching RDS every game by myself with all my Habs gear My all time favorite Hab is Kirk Muller. After just about every game, trade, or move made by the Habs, I comment on it in my Facebook or Tweet about it. I have always been, and will always be a HABS FAN and I'm dang proud of it. Go Habs Go.

On august 21st 2011 I had twin boys. Loghan is a growing boy and is at home with mom and dad. Keagan unfortunately is still at CHEO Neonatal Intensive Care with some complications.

That doesn't stop him from being a trooper and watching the Habs games with his father though. This is a picture taken tonight of Keagan and me watching the game. Hopefully we get him home sooner than later, but for now we'll be able to watch all the games from his hospital room.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’ve put out over 40,600 tweets and I would guess that over 38,000 are Habs related. I blog about the Habs at www.glitznglamour.com, and I was also a guest blogger for HendricksHockey.net for the Habs.
I am constantly reading updates on twitter about the Habs. I love the Habs and travelled to Ottawa for a pre season game!
I even met 2 of my closest friends because of a Habs get-together.
GO HABS GO!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’m a member of tricolore.ca and I follow the Canadiens on Facebook as well. I’m the number 1 fan of the prestigious CLUB DE HOCKEY CANADIENS DE MONTREAL! Take a look for yourself and see my Habs shrine, and the tattoo of the CH I have on my arm that took many, many hours to get done. I always post pictures of all my Habs gear on Facebook.

GO HABS GO FOREVER

I proudly support the Canadiens on Facebook by posting pictures of the Canadiens and crushing the dreams of Leafs fans (I live 20 minutes outside Toronto). I often go to what is known as "The Habs Bar" at Kilgour's Bar Meets Grill in Toronto. The whole bar is decorated with a Canadiens theme and we use Twitter to communicate important meet-ups. Everywhere in my house there is something to do with Montreal Canadiens from light-switch plates to phones to lamps. Even my dog Zelda has TWO Canadiens jerseys.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

In my opinion, I must be one of the most die hard Habs fans in all of Quebec. The first thing that I do everyday when I wake up is to make sure to turn on my computer and check up on all the latest Canadiens news and articles on Canadiens.com, RDS and CKAC! I try to always stay plugged in to all the breaking news about my favorite team. I’m most active on Youtube, where I’m always watching Habs related videos, whether it’s a memorable moment that I’m looking to relive, or a highlight that I simply might have missed, I always stay connected to the world of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge. Here are some pictures of my collection of Habs gear in our basement.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I was born a Habs fan 20 years ago, and to this day I am still a huge Habs fan. I show my passion by following canadiensmtl on twitter as well as all the current Habs players. I follow and chat with other awesome fans on twitter. I’m also a fan of the Montreal Canadiens on Facebook. I have made multiple trips to Ottawa to see the Habs play. I also bought a ticket package to see the Habs at the Bell Centre this season. Bleu-Blanc-Rouge all the way!!!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I teach the 6th grade and my whole class helped to decorate the door of our classroom with the Canadiens logo and colors! I always try to share my passion for hockey with my students. My two kids also have their bricks in Centennial Plaza at the Bell Centre: Rookie 2009 Alexis Lapierre and Fan since January 31, 2007, Émilien Lapierre. I, of course have my brick too: Jn Ben and Luc, Olé Olé Olé forever!

Here’s a picture of one of my Habs jerseys. Go Habs Go!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I posted a picture that I took with my favorite Habs player, Tomas Plekanec, on the Canadiens Fan Forum for other fans to see, and I still have it up as the profile picture for my Facebook account. I always follow all the news that the Canadiens put out on their Facebook and Twitter pages everyday.
