Beginning on September 1, 2011, we will announce one Social Media Fan of the Day everyday on Twitter via @canadiensMTL, the official Twitter account of the Montreal Canadiens. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to any Habs Zone location and we’ll post his or her profile on canadiens.com. Oh, and don’t forget to tell your friends – it’s in your best interests!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I am the ultimate Habs fan because I am always representing my team on social media forums, wherever it might be, no matter what our record is. Also, because I proudly wear my Canadiens "snuggie" to keep me warm during the game!!!

GO HABS GO!!!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I'm a Montrealer living in (cough, cough) Toronto. I never waste an opportunity to use my status update on Facebook to let people know about an important Habs game, trade, or special achievement. My favourite profile picture is of a cat wearing a Habs jersey, holding onto a stick. Everyone is sick to death of my pride for Nos Glorieux, but I couldn't care less! They are emblazoned into my heart, no matter where I live. I fly my Canadiens car flag all around town, and it never stops being fun showing my Habs pride here in Toronto.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I’ve taught my two-year-old daughter most of the names of the players on the team. We made a video of it and put it on Youtube! We never miss a game and would love to be able to go watch a game at the Bell Centre.

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

I always love sharing the Canadiens links of Facebook and even sometimes chipping in my two cents went I’ve something to say. I never miss a game and even when times are tough, I always encourage the team on Facebook and try to stay positive. I can’t afford tickets to a game, but it’s always been my dream to go and watch one live at the Bell Centre. Until then, I’ll keep offering up my opinion through social media.

I wear my Habs gear every time I leave the country just to let everyone know who my team is! I also try my best to go on road-trips to see the Canadiens play whenever I’m able. I follow the team on Facebook and Twitter and through their website. Here’s a picture of me at an Islanders-Canadiens game in NY!

I watch as many Canadiens games and I can and get new on them everyday though Facebook and Twitter. I read and participate in Habs discussions online whenever possible and always support the team.

Here’s a photo of wearing by Habs jersey in Seoul Korea.

I'm always tweeting about the Habs game and I follow everyone of the Canadiens on Twitter who use it, so I can always keep up with them!

Here’s a picture of me sitting next to a Pens fan, nothing better than tormenting other team's fans! (All in good fun, of course!)

I wear my Habs stuff all the time!!! I even got my kids into it! Still working on the boyfriend though… I watch the news, get more info on the net on Facebook and Twitter, receive my scores on my phone if I am out and can't watch the game. My Haloween pumpkin was even carved with the Habs sign!! My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts, but you know what?  I don't really care, because I LOVE MY HABS!!!

I follow the Habs through Facebook and on Twitter. I constantly update my status/tweets when the games are on and I’m always watching videos that the team puts up on Youtube! I’m glad they are on every form on social networking and that it gives us, the fans, the chance to get a peek into the locker room as well as getting to see how goofy they are through "Get To Know Your Habs" segments. Just awesome all around!

How do you show your passion for the Canadiens through social media?

Not so much with Twitter but definitely a lot with Facebook. I have a complete album of me and friends visiting the Canadiens locker room as well as skating on the Bell Center ice. This is not really part of social media but my BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) picture is the CH from the ice. I haven't changed it for months!
